Yongzhu manufactures custom aluminum gearbox housing castings from customer drawings, 3D models or approved samples. We review the part’s geometry and production requirements before confirming tooling, casting, CNC machining and inspection scope.
Our focus is the housing component used in a gearbox or reducer assembly, including projects with bevel or spiral bevel gear layouts. Supply can range from a casting to a machined housing, as agreed for the project.
Each housing is designed around its gears, shafts, bearings and adjoining components. We review the features specified in your drawing rather than offering a standard gearbox case by model number.
Tooling decisions depend on more than the outside shape of a gearbox housing. Before quotation and mold preparation, we review four areas:
Wall transitions, ribs, cavities, parting considerations and areas that may need machining allowance.
Bearing locations, reference datums, clamping access and the faces or holes that cannot remain as-cast.
Housing joints, seal interfaces and any drawing-defined area that requires a leakage test.
Specified alloy, estimated quantity, surface condition and whether you need a casting or a finished machined component.
This review helps establish a practical manufacturing route and a quotation based on the same requirements your team will use to approve the part.
Yongzhu can coordinate mold making, aluminum die casting and CNC machining within the confirmed project scope.
We review the available 2D drawing or 3D model, alloy, quantity, critical dimensions, finish and application requirements.
Manufacturing risks, tooling scope, machining, finishing, inspection, price and estimated schedule are reviewed before the project starts.
The mold is made to the approved drawing revision. T1 samples are submitted for dimensional, assembly, appearance or functional review as agreed.
Approved parts move through die casting, secondary operations, final inspection, packaging and shipment according to the confirmed order requirements.
Inspection points are selected from the approved drawing. The actual methods and acceptance criteria depend on the housing design and agreed project requirements.
| Feature | Possible Inspection Focus |
|---|---|
| Bearing seats and locating bores | Drawing-defined sizes and relative positions |
| Housing and cover mating faces | Specified dimensions, surface condition and flatness |
| Mounting holes and threads | Position, size and thread requirements |
| Seal interfaces and oil boundary | Dimensional checks and leakage testing when specified |
| Visible casting surfaces | Agreed appearance and finishing requirements |
If your project includes adjoining cast components, they can be reviewed alongside the gearbox housing.
Our quality system helps ensure consistent production, traceable batches and reliable delivery for OEM projects.

Yes. Photos, a sample and known assembly dimensions can support an initial discussion. Worn or damaged features may not represent the required finished dimensions, so a production drawing or agreed specification may still be needed before tooling. Please confirm that you have the rights to reproduce the part.
Yes. Send the drawings or available information for both components and identify the faces and features that must fit together. They can then be reviewed as one sourcing project with a defined supply scope for each part.
That can be evaluated. Tool ownership, condition, design and compatibility with the intended equipment must be checked first. Any modification, maintenance and transfer responsibilities should be agreed before production planning.
Yes. Mention your NDA or file-sharing requirements in the initial inquiry. The applicable terms and exchange method can be discussed before sensitive files are provided.
