What We Check Before Tooling
Before a mold is made, we look at where the Engine Bracket needs to fit, where it needs machining and which features matter most to assembly.
Connection Points
We identify the mating faces, locating features and bolt patterns that control how the bracket fits adjoining parts.
Casting Structure
Bosses, ribs and section changes are reviewed for casting feasibility. Customer-provided load and duty requirements are considered when defining the manufacturing and validation scope.

Drawing and RFQ Review
We review the available 2D drawing or 3D model, alloy, quantity, critical dimensions, finish and application requirements.
DFM, Quotation and Tooling Plan
Manufacturing risks, tooling scope, machining, finishing, inspection, price and estimated schedule are reviewed before the project starts.
Mold Making and T1 Approval
The mold is made to the approved drawing revision. T1 samples are submitted for dimensional, assembly, appearance or functional review as agreed.
Production, Inspection and Delivery
Approved parts move through die casting, secondary operations, final inspection, packaging and shipment according to the confirmed order requirements.

Inspection is planned around the approved drawing and agreed acceptance requirements.

Yes. Send the available 2D drawing, photos, sample details and known critical dimensions. We can identify what further information is needed for tooling and quotation.
Can you use an existing customer-owned mold?

What about brackets used on marine engines?
We can review an individual cast mounting component from its drawing, including the specified material and environmental requirements. Complete outboard transom brackets and hydraulic mounting systems are outside this page’s standard scope.
